Current focus
My current artistic work aims to raise awareness of mental health and social constructs. It is aimed at anyone who deals with the topic of mental health, be it in their personal life, their social environment or professional context.
This work is intended to be an invitation to those who believe they are alone with their mental health challenges and to help promote the normalization of the issue.
At the same time, through my art I also want to appeal to those who still believe that mental health is just a passing fad that can be fixed with a little fresh air.
Let us work together to create more awareness, mindfulness and normalization for this important issue!

How it all began…
Once upon a time there was little Melissa sitting on her godmother's terrace. She was so small that she can hardly remember it. Armed with a pen and paper, she set herself the challenge of painting Donald Duck. Her godmother, a painter herself, saw a certain potential and gave her a taster course in a children's studio for her next birthday, not knowing that this gesture would shape a person's entire life.
Painting has always been a constant in her life. She painted in various children's and youth studios and art schools and tried out many different things.
At this point I would like to say a big thank you to my godmother and my parents, who always supported me in what not only reflected my strengths but also my heart.
