About my work
Before I go to the canvas, I develop a precise sketch concept of what I want to depict. I am fascinated by depth and symbolism and I consciously integrate these into my art, leaving nothing to chance. In doing so, I try to depict situations that do not appear to be visible at first glance. This concept becomes even clearer when I explain it using my paintings - feel free to take a look.
